Water Sort: Cute Monster Caps
Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to the mobile game Water Sort: Cute Monster Caps (also shown as “Water Sort - Cute Monster Caps”, Android package com.mostafa.watersort.monstercaps), developed and published on Google Play by Tutkem Studio by Mostafa Abdelazeem (“we”, “the developer”). It explains what data the game uses, who receives it, and what you can control.
In short
- The game is made for children aged 6 and above, for teenagers and for adults, and it follows Google Play’s Families Policy.
- Playing needs no account and no personal information.
- The game shows ads from Google AdMob. All of them are suitable for children and are not personalized by interests.
- Signing in to Google Play Games is optional and is used only to save your progress.
- We collect usage statistics and crash reports that carry neither your name nor your account, to improve the game.
- We do not sell your data to anyone.
Data kept on your device
The game saves your progress on your device: the levels you finished, your coins, hearts and helpers, the monsters and bottle styles you collected, your settings, and the name and picture you may choose inside the game. This save file stays on your device unless you choose to save your progress with Google Play Games. Anything else that leaves the device is described in the sections below.
Ads
The game shows ads provided by Google AdMob. Because the game’s audience includes children, it asks AdMob to treat all players as children:
- Ads are not personalized: they are not based on your interests or on your activity in other apps.
- Ad content is limited to the G rating, the rating suitable for general audiences.
- Your device’s advertising ID is not sent with ad requests.
To show and measure ads, and for analytics and fraud prevention, the AdMob library collects the following data and sends it to Google:
- The IP address, from which a general, approximate location is worked out, not the precise location.
- Your interactions with the app and with ads, such as app opens, taps and video views.
- Diagnostic data about the performance of the game and of the ads library.
- Device or app identifiers.
Google processes this data under Google’s Privacy Policy. To learn more: how Google uses information from apps that use its services.
Google Play Games
If you wish, you can sign in with your Google Play Games account to save your progress and restore it on another device. This is optional, and the whole game is available without it.
When you sign in:
- The game receives your player name and your Play Games player ID from Google, to show you the account you signed in with.
- A copy of the whole save file is kept in your Google account: progress, coins, purchases, collection, settings and the name you chose inside the game.
- The Play Games service collects analytics and diagnostic data to improve its stability.
This data is stored by Google under its privacy policy and is not stored on our servers.
Usage statistics and crash reports
To improve the game and fix its problems, the game sends to our servers:
- Usage statistics: the pages that are opened, the levels that are played and the packs that are bought.
- Crash reports and data about the game’s performance.
This data does not include your name, your email, your account or the advertising ID, and we do not use it to identify you. We use it for analysis only and do not share it with anyone for advertising purposes.
Purchases
Optional purchases are made through Google Play’s billing system, and Google processes them under its privacy policy. We do not see or store your payment details. The game receives a confirmation from Google Play that the purchase was made, so that it can give you what you bought, and it records the kind of pack bought as part of the usage statistics described above.
Internet connection
The game can be played offline. When a connection is available, the game downloads a small settings file (levels, prices and game balance) from our content server. The game sends no personal information with this request. As with any internet request, the hosting provider receives the device’s IP address so that it can answer; we do not use it to identify or track players.
Contacting support
If you write to us from the support page in the game, the message opens in the email app on your device and is sent from there; the game itself sends nothing. The message contains what you wrote, the reply address you entered if you entered one, the game’s version number, the player number shown in Settings, and the kind of operating system. We use this only to answer you and solve your problem.
Children
The game’s audience includes children aged 6 and above, and so:
- We require no account and no personal information to play.
- All ads are suitable for children and not personalized, and they come from an ad network certified in Google Play’s Families program.
- The game has no real chat and no contact between players. The club’s members and their messages are part of the game, not real players.
- Signing in to Google Play Games is optional, and the whole game is available without it.
If you are a parent or guardian, your child has emailed us, and you want the message and the email address deleted, write to us at the address below and we will delete them.
Keeping and deleting data
- Data on your device: you can erase it at any time from inside the game (Settings, then Data settings, then Delete data), by uninstalling the game, or by clearing its storage in the device’s settings.
- Progress saved in Google Play Games: the Delete data option inside the game also deletes the copy saved in your account, and you can delete it from your Play Games profile as well.
- Ads data: Google keeps it under its privacy policy.
- Statistics and crash reports: they are not linked to your name or your account, so we cannot tell which of them belong to a particular player.
Security
All connections the game makes are encrypted in transit (HTTPS).
Changes to this policy
If the game changes in a way that affects your privacy, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
