Xiaomi, Redmi & POCO · 2026 · Current model
The Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G came out in 2026 with a 6.83-inch screen of 1280 × 2772 pixels: a 19.5:9 aspect ratio at 447 pixels per inch. At that density a small image stretched to fit looks soft, while one made at the full resolution stays sharp.
The Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G, Xiaomi 17T Pro, POCO F7, and Xiaomi 15T use the same 1280 × 2772 resolution, so one wallpaper fits them all.
Lock screen and home screen
1280 × 2772
The exact size of the screen. Use it for both.
Scrolling home screen
2560 × 2772
Twice the width, only for launchers that slide the wallpaper as you swipe between pages. Most keep it still.

Both screens show the wallpaper at the same size, but different things sit on top of it.
Menu names change a little between software versions. If an option isn't there, open the picture in your gallery app and look for Set as wallpaper in its menu.
1280 × 2772 pixels, the native resolution of its 6.83-inch screen. Use the same size for the lock screen and the home screen.
19.5:9. The screen is 1280 pixels wide and 2772 pixels tall, so an image with a different shape is cropped at the edges when you set it.
Yes. A 4K portrait image (2160 × 3840) has more pixels than the Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G shows, so it stays sharp, but its 16:9 shape doesn't match the 19.5:9 screen, so part of it is cropped. Fit it to 1280 × 2772 first to choose what stays.
Usually the image is smaller than 1280 × 2772 or a different shape, so the phone enlarges it to fill the screen. Make it at the exact size with the tool on this page, and start from the original photo, not a screenshot or a copy sent through a chat app.
Usually not. Most launchers keep the wallpaper still, so 1280 × 2772 fills it exactly. If yours slides the wallpaper as you swipe between pages, use 2560 × 2772 instead.
