Privacy Policy

The short version

• Your health readings and your profile stay on your phone. We, the developer, do not receive them and have no server that stores them.
• The free version of the app shows ads through Google AdMob. AdMob collects some device information, described below, to show and measure ads.
• Optional monthly and yearly subscriptions are sold and processed by Google Play. We never see your payment details.

Information the app uses

• Motion sensor readings (accelerometer and gyroscope). They are read only while a measurement is running, processed on your phone to calculate the results, and then discarded. Raw sensor data is not saved.
• Your measurement results: heart rate, HRV values (RMSSD and SDNN), breathing rate, signal quality, and the date and time of each reading. They are saved on your phone so you can see your history and your personal averages.
• Your profile, if you choose to fill it in: name, age and sex. They are used only on your phone, to address you by name and to compare your results with the right reference ranges. The profile is optional.
• Your settings, such as language, theme and measurement length.

None of this is sent to us, to advertisers or to any other third party. Your health readings and profile are never used for advertising.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

The free version of the app shows ads provided by Google AdMob. To show ads, limit how often you see them, measure their performance and prevent fraud, the AdMob software in the app collects and sends to Google:

• your device’s advertising ID and other device identifiers;
• your approximate location, derived from your IP address;
• information about how you interact with ads and the app, such as ad views and taps;
• diagnostic information, such as performance data, and basic device information such as model, operating system and language.

Where the law requires it, for example in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, the app asks for your consent before personalised ads are shown, and you can change your choice later in the app. You can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalised ads, in your phone’s settings (Settings › Privacy › Ads, or Settings › Google › Ads). Google’s use of this data is described at policies.google.com/privacy and policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Subscriptions (Google Play)

The app offers optional monthly and yearly subscriptions. Purchases, renewals, cancellations and refunds are handled entirely by Google Play under your Google account. Google Play tells the app whether you have an active subscription; we do not receive your card number, billing address or other payment details. You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in the Google Play app under Payments & subscriptions.

What we do not do

• We do not sell your information.
• We do not send your health readings or profile off your phone.
• The app does not use your camera, microphone, contacts, files or precise location.

Storage and security

Your results, profile and settings are stored in the app’s private storage on your phone, which other apps cannot read. Whether they are included in your phone’s own backups depends on your Android backup settings, which Google controls, not us. Data sent to Google for ads and subscriptions travels over encrypted connections.

Deleting your information

You can delete a single reading, or all readings with “Clear all”, on the History screen. You can change or clear your profile in Settings. Uninstalling the app deletes everything it has stored on the phone. We hold no copy of your health readings or profile. For data collected by Google for ads, you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone’s settings, and manage your Google data at myaccount.google.com.

Health information

Nabd Sense is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent any disease, and its readings are estimates for general wellbeing. Do not use them for medical decisions. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.

Children

Nabd Sense is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the app handles information, we will update this policy before that version is released. The date at the top shows when the policy last changed.
